The Marin Bass Club was created by a group of passionate anglers to raise awareness of bass fishing in our community. Our goal is to provide people of all ages and abilities a safe community to learn, fish, and most of all have fun. We believe the future of our sport can be better served through increased education and conservation to build a responsible and enjoyable community of bass anglers.

The Marin Bass Club meets on the second Wednesday of every month to discuss different aspects of the sport we love. Topics include equipment, protocol, lures and different techniques. We also use this time as a round table discussion to ask questions and learn from each other, providing a true sense of belonging to a community. To enhance our angling alliance, we’ve also created a forum where members can post questions, read fishing reports, buy used equipment and even schedule future fishing outings together.

Our meetings and forum also serve to educate anglers on critical conservation efforts we believe help protect the fish and lakes we’ve all grown to love. All members of the Marin Bass Club are encouraged to be eco-conscious and bring trash bags with them to help keep our lakes clean. We also strongly believe in the “catch and release” program for all bass caught. This helps to ensure the fish we catch today will provide more fun for everyone in the future. Additionally, we’d like to propose the formation of a Take a Kid Fishing Program, as well as a partnership with JigMontser.com to create a weeklong fishing camp for kids during the summer to share (and teach) the joys of fishing.
