It’s brutal out there right now, even for smallies. If you’re hurting for some action try lake Alpine and its creek run off areas like cataract falls. Best Bets would be a live nightcrawler on a slip float rig, a hair jig on a slip float rig, or a 5” Senko in Watermelon and Black Flake rigged Wacky style. All of these baits should be fished as SLOWLY as you can stand.
