Alpine Lake
Alpine is still quite slow during the day with Senkos and dropshots being the best bet when the sun is on the water, and poppers, super flukes, and super spook jrs when the sun is not on the water. That said, several customers who hit Alpine on a regular basis have reported some big Senko fish in the 3-5 lb range and one of them reported a 7 lb largemouth that hit on a 6 watermelon black flake Senko.

Phoenix Lake
Daytime has been tough with most fish being under 3 lbs and all of them being caught on 4 robo worms on a dropshot. Early mornings have produced a few big fish (5 lb +) on Huddlestons and Castaic blue gill baits, but your fishing for one bite a day and many times you wont even get that.

Stafford Lake
Daytime is tough as Stafford too and your best bet is to target weed mats with small frogs, 5 Senkos, and heavy Texas rigged soft plastics like a tube or beaver w/ a pegged 103 Tungsten bullet sinker. You can also target deep water during the daytime with the dropshot, Carolina rig, football head jig, deep diving crankbaits and Texas rigged ribbon tail worms in dark colors. That said, mornings and evenings can be hot for an hour or two on frogs, spooks, poppers, buzz baits, and wake baits.
